WHAT THIS CLASS IS:
A comprehensive and dynamic Acting Class that focuses on in-depth Meisner fundamentals, scene study, and gaining mastery in the world of performance. It includes intermittent showcases and performances of the cumulative work done in class.
WHAT WE WORK ON:
Preparing the Actor to bring power, presence and authenticity to their work and developing their technique so they can explore and express their full range and talent.
WHAT WE INCLUDE:
*Meisner Technique Exercises, Improvisations, Particularizations, Voice work, Breath work, Fantasies, and other exercises towards the fulfillment of the material.
*Script Analysis: including in depth study and research of the Plays and their Writers.
*Relationship to the space with attention to the Actor's physical choices and overall movement possibilities.
WHAT WE'LL PROVIDE:
A learning experience that brings artistic fulfillment and creative satisfaction in an environment where artists can approach their work with creative joy, power and full self-expression in a supportive and collaborative community.
